Midwood Miracle

A one woman musical show from singer, writer and performer Deborah Karpel. When Debby and her partner Lisa sublet an apartment in Brooklyn from Debby's father, all the Yiddish skeletons in his closets emerge and Opera singing Debby finds herself fronting a Klezmer band. Alternating between the bittersweet and hilarious, Debby pieces together what home means to her. The show features original compositions by Karpel and collaborations with composers Rachelle Garniez and Ted Kociolek, along with Operatic arias, Swing, Traditional, Gospel and Yiddish songs.
